Tourism Ireland Limited is seeking to appoint one or more marketing communications agencies to: (i) (Lot 1) respond to a marketing brief and develop a strategic direction and a consequent creative brandedadvertising approach to promote tourism to the island of Ireland, including, but not limited to: — understanding each of the markets from where the island of Ireland draws its visitors; and, — developing and refining strategies to encourage more visitors to the island and producing high qualitycreative advertising and communications campaigns for use in all appropriate media; (Lot No.1, furtherdescribed in Annex B) and. (ii) (Lot 2) provide media planning and buying services, including, but not limited to: — understanding target audiences in all the visitor countries, — advising on the best way to target such potential visitors, — recommending media strategies to optimize and refine the media spend in each country, — purchasing media space on behalf of Tourism Ireland Limited; and, — shaping global media strategies and coordinating best practice across markets (Lot No. 2, further described in Annex B). The successful agency or agencies will be required to meet the requirements set out in Lot 1 (Strategic and creative) either in a single location with the output being flexible and useable in other markets or in overseas markets with varying scopes of work and/or to meet the requirements in Lot 2 (Media Planning and Buying) including, but not limited to Great Britain, USA, Canada, Germany, France, the Nordics,The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and, Australia.
