5983 - Drive and Cardan Shaft Overhaul Services

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) are seeking to award a contract, to a single entity, for the provision of specialist engineering services on components deemed to be of a safety critical nature by the Safety Management System within the Chief Mechanical Engineering department. The proposed contract will cover in the region of 80 sets of drive shafts from a variety of Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) fleets and will cover both primary and secondary shafts and all work will be undertaken strictly in line with 'TU/TS0075 Issue 3, Revision A - Cardan Shaft Overhaul' specification.
