The Carrick-on-Shannon Business Campus is located on the Dublin Road, Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim (formerly occupied by MBNA). This was once a thriving building, but now 75% vacant despite having an active Private Sector owner. The building is accessed from the strategic N4 Dublin-Sligo road and is located 1.3km from the town centre of Carrick-on-Shannon.
Leitrim County Council received funding approval for the following
• Purchase of the Carrick Business Campus buildings.
• Provision of high quality fit out of office workspace for 150 employees aimed at firms of 10+ employees on the ground floor of Phase 1. This will include:
• high quality individual offices, collaborative spaces and meeting rooms,
• Shared innovation centre using the latest technology in teleconferencing, podcasting, video production and 3-D printing.
• Provision of Marketing Suite
• Analysis of existing building fabric and services to decide on upgrade works to reduce carbon for this building.
