Short description

The RSA is seeking tenders for the provision of ongoing support, maintenance and enhancement of the NDLS Driver Application System and associated services. The NDLS Driver Application System is an Actian OpenRoad-based system utilising an Actian Ingres Database as its underlying database. The scope of the Contract involves the following:
(i) the provision of ongoing support and maintenance of the DA System; and
(ii) the development and enhancement of the DA System on an ‘as required’ basis over the Contract Term;
The Contract will be for a duration of 24 months with options to extend by a period of up to 24 months up to a maximum term of 96 months.

Description of the procurement

The scope of the Contract involves the following:
(i) the provision of ongoing support and maintenance of the DA System; and
(ii) the development and enhancement of the DA System on an ‘as required’ basis over the Contract Term;
Additional services may also be required over the Contract term which may include but are not limited to:
(i) Consultancy services in relation to the DA System and/or its underlying technology stack including data analysis and retrieval services;
(ii) Quality reviews of other systems which the RSA own or are in the process of procuring e.g. Database design reviews;
(iii) Assisting the RSA Data Team in any matters relating to relational database query optimisation;
(iv) Assistance with RSA migration to a new/alternative driver application platform;
