7551 - Manufacture, Supply Testing and Delivery of fully-fitted Signal Cases for the IE Train Protection System (TPS )

Location case equipment is a core part of the IÉ signalling system and includes equipment cases, equipment racks, re-locatable buildings and enclosures for power supply equipment, which must be located adjacent to the tracks. There are currently approx. 2,500 location cases and equipment racks located throughout the network. Iarnród Éireann now has a requirement for the supply of approximately 2150 No. Lineside Location Cases of various sizes. These location cases will be utilised in the Irish Rail trackside Train Protection System (TPS) project to house various equipment that will be located at multiple sites along the rail infrastructure network. The installation of these location cases on site will be undertaken separately.
