Description of the procurement

Údarás na Gaeltachta is seeking to engage an Integrated Design Team comprising Environmental Engineering Consultants (Design Team Lead), Environmental/Town Planner, Aqua Marine Consultant/Marine Ecologist experienced in the planning and design of marine projects with particular reference to land based hatcheries, post smolt units, shell fish processing and sea weed processing units which Údarás propose to develop at their marine based park in Cill Chiarain, Co Galway.
In order to progress this objective Údarás na Gaeltachta now require the Integrated Design Team (“the Consultant”) to obtain all Statutory Permits necessary to allow the completion of the existing Páirc Na Mara Project and to permit construction and operation of marine based projects which will support and expand the existing marine activity in the greater Connemara region.
