Tenders are invited for the Supply of Telephony Services to Bord na Móna which includes voice, data and mobile broadband for approximately 1,300 mobiles devices, Managed fixed line, Managed WAN services and Managed internet. The successful supplier may also be required to supply devices to Bord na Móna.
Bord Na Móna wish to enhance the mobile phone service provided to employees at all of our locations. Indoor mobile phone coverage at key BNM locations will be of the utmost importance. This is intended, in part, to allow the removal of antiquated PBX systems from certain sites and the removal of landlines.
Bord na Móna wish to reduce our dependence on traditional fixed line telephony by utilising the WAN data network, Internet and mobile network where practical to support telephony services. This is intended to allow for the removal of antiquated PBX systems where possible. It is planned that any BNM employee who already holds a company mobile phone will not require a desk phone. This is intended to reduce the number of handsets deployed to each site.
Bord na Móna wish to enhance our WAN & Internet infrastructure. This WAN & Internet upgrade and the associated Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the successful supplier will mean that every BNM site must achieve a minimum percentage of uptime per month during the agreed working hours for that site.
