17/070 - Balancing Buy and Sell Gas Contract 17/18

The Contracting Entity requires a contract to buy gas at short notice, thus enabling the Contracting Entity to take balancing actions to ensure the physical balance of the transportation system. The Contracting Entity also requires a contract to sell gas from the transportation system, thus enabling the Contracting Entity to take balancing actions to ensure the physical balance of the transportation system. The Balancing Tender is divided in to 2 Lots. Lot 1 refers to the Balancing Buy Contract and Lot 2 refers to the Balancing Sell Contract. Tenderers should note the potential impact of anticipated modifications to the Code of Operations and related documents required to give effect to the EU Network Codes on the contract or contracts that may be awarded pursuant to this Tender. The Contracting Entity reserves the right at any time and from time to time both prior to contract award or during the Term of the Contract or Contracts to amend or vary the terms of the Contract or Contracts to give effect to any modifications to the Code of Operations or related documents.
