TII046_Sandyford Depot Extension - TII046

TII have a requirement to modify the existing tram maintenance depot at Sandyford in order to accommodate longer trams. It is necessary to extend the existing depot workshop and administration section of the building. TII hereafter referred to as “the Contracting Authority”, is seeking a contractor to construct the works associated with the Contracting Authority’s detailed design which includes building extensions to the northwest and southeast of the depot and modifications to the tram stabling area. The Contracting Authority requires a contractor with expertise in the construction of industrial building works and expertise in the procurement and management of a range of particular subcontractors, including roofing and cladding, curtain walling and glazing, building services (mechanical and electrical), demolition, piling, temporary works, drainage and utilities, structural engineering, and ideally light rail specific subcontractors for track works etc. This Contract will be carried out under either the Public Works Contract Form: 1 or 3. This will be confirmed at tender stage.
