Re:                    Invitation to Tender for Construction Works (Open Procedure)

 

 

For:                   Proposed Extension of existing Community Centre Building and all associated siteworks at Castlerahan Community Centre, Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan.

Castlerahan Community Development invites you to tender for construction works for the above referenced project, note the points outlined below.

Form of Contract

The Form of Contract will be: PW-CF6 Public Works Short Form of Contract

Tender Returns

The latest time and date for return of Tenders is as stated on eTenders.  

The submission may only be returned via the eTenders platform.

 

Any tender submission made outside of the eTenders system will be deemed invalid. Unsigned or incorrectly signed or incomplete Forms of Tender will likewise be deemed to be invalid tenders. Tenders must be in the format prescribed in the Instruction to Tenderers.

Please see the tender checklist contained in the Folder titled Instruction To Tenderers, to make sure you return all documents required.

Queries

Queries must be submitted through the eTenders query facility online.

All queries must be submitted as soon as possible and, in any event, not later than 10 calendar days before latest time for receipt of Tender although the Employer may at its discretion respond to queries raised after that date. If the Employer responds to a query, it will send the response to each Tenderer, unless the Tenderer asking the query has clearly designated the query as confidential and the Employer agrees that it should be treated as confidential.

Basis of Assessment for Award Criteria

The basis of assessment of the Tenders is detailed in the Instructions to Tenderers and is Price only.

Note, the Bill of Quantities will be provided to bidders in about one weeks’ time.

Section Criteria.

Tenderers must provide two valid reference projects to be deemed an eligible tender, this is as detailed in the “Suitability for Contractors document”. A template is provided in the same document for return details on each reference project.

Volume A:     Works Requirements (as stated in Project Particulars)

Volume B:     Form of Tender and Schedule

Volume C:     Pricing Document/BOQ.

 

Tenderers, are required to go into the document section in order to see the folders that contain the tender documents.

Note, the following documents are included in the folder: 7.0 Information Pack Background Information:

• A list of interested suppliers.
• Any special rates submitted by suppliers. (This will be provided in due course)
• Draft Health and Safety Plan

Site Visit Details

All arrangements for visiting the site and any enquiries pertaining there to are to be made through the eTenders messaging facility or as directed within the tender documents.
