INVITATION TO TENDER
10th January 2020
Dear Sir/Madam,
You are invited to prepare and submit a tender for the above contract in accordance with the Works Requirements set out in the enclosed documents. Reserved Specialists will be selected by the OPW for the Mechanical and Electrical elements of the project.
The documents transmitted with this invitation are:
l Works Requirements (Volume A);
l Tender & Schedule (Volume B);
l Pricing Document (Volume C);
l Instructions to Tenderer (Appendix I);
l Information Pack (Appendix II).
Tenders are to be submitted and received at this office by 12 noon on Friday, 7th February 2020
Tender package should consist of the following:
l Completed Form of Tender & Schedule;
l Completed Pricing Document;
l Completed Works Proposals as set out in Appendix 1 of the Instruction to Tenderers.
The successful tenderer will be appointed directly by the OPW. The OPW shall not be bound to accept the lowest or any tender. Contractors should note that acceptance of a tender will constitute a binding and enforceable contract.
Please note that references to “The Department of Social Protection” or “DSP” in any of the documents, drawings etc. should be read as “The Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection” and “DEASP”.
