15/109 - Pilot Technology Trials of Water Metering Systems for Multi-Unit Developments
Irish Water wishes to investigate the functionality of water metering technologies in the context of Irish Multi-Unit Developments (MUDs) to inform future metering programmes. In this regard, Irish Water is seeking responses to this Request for Expressions of Interest and Information. Funding for these trials is provided from the Water Services Innovation Fund, which is supervised by the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER).

Stage 1) - initial request for information Stage 2) - concept design Stage 3) - submission by consortia Stage 4) - offer by Irish Water to a number of consortia Stage 5) - the trial installation, commissioning, monitoring and reporting.
