This lot applies to services relating to applications for Training Programmes and Networks. These applications are typically specialised in a particular research area. Training

programmes may be focused at different levels e.g. doctoral, postdoctoral or lifelong-learning. A clear and concise description of a programme or research and training is often required. Expertise in current national and international best practise in training appropriate to the career stage is required for training networks, in order to design international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary training programmes. This may include researcher career development plans, supervisory/mentoring arrangements, transferable skills training plans and knowledge transfer mechanisms. These applications can be large-scale with multiple international academic and industry partners. Grant mechanisms can be cumbersome and so a detailed knowledge of grant rules, regulations and eligibility requirements is required. Further details required may include market analysis, industry-academic collaboration including technology transfer arrangements; technology development and impact of the programme.
