The Department of Social Protection carries out facial image matching as part of the SAFE registration process. The Department is undertaking a procurement process for the supply, configuration and integration of facial image matching software and provision of support as part of the SAFE registration process. The system should include an algorithm in line with current market standards and expectations. A support and maintenance package is required for a two-year period (beginning end year 1) that provides same time zone 1st and 2nd line support. In addition, the contractor should provide an ICAO webcheck Solution for photographs uploaded to the current online PSC renewal process and technical support.
