Description of the procurement

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants to establish a Qualification System for Structural Investigation Works to structures including but not limited to tunnels, bridges and other railway infrastructure that Iarnrod Eireann may undertake directly or on behalf of CIE on their properties. The extent and type of the structural investigation works required for each contract will vary depending on the structure type, material and location. The project works (from €50k up to value of €1M) shall be tendered to those Contractors approved for inclusion on this Qualification System. The works at a minimum will include both destructive and non-destructive testing and investigation to confirm the material properties and/or condition of the relevant structures and their components, both within and outside of the railway boundary.
