The Contracting Entity intends to procure a contract for the remediation of a former waste disposal area (the site) which was historically part of the former Shannonbridge Power Station and is now located within the West Offaly Power Station (WOPS) site boundary and any other contaminated areas that might arise within the power station boundary. The Contracting Entity is proposing to remove infilled waste material from the site under Waste Management Act 1996.
