[DescrShort]

Active Travel is traveling with a purpose using your own energy. It includes walking(including all users of footpaths) or cycling or non-motorised scooters as part of a purposeful journey.
The Active Travel Grants Programme funds important projects supporting strategic pedestrian and cyclist routes, access to schools, permeability links, urban greenways and some minor public transport improvement projects.
In 2022 the NTA allocated funds to Ireland’s local authorities with a view to spending €289 million on over 1200 walking and cycling infrastructure projects nationally. The Authority wishes to appoint a suitably qualified service provider for the provision of high-quality media/video production services including Vox-Pop style interviews, Drone, Gimbal, and Go-Pro footage which will highlight and promote a series of Active Travel projects being rolled out nationwide. The list of elements forming the Services required are detailed in the Request for Tender.
