The Health Research Board (HRB) is a statutory agency under the aegis of the Department of Health. As the lead agency in Ireland responsible for supporting and funding health research, generating health information and promoting the use of evidence in policy and practice, we are motivated and inspired by our vision – for better health through excellent research, data, and evidence.
The HRB’s mission is to support research that improves people's health, promotes evidence-informed care and creates solutions to societal challenges. There is an increased focus across government on the importance of evidence to support public policy.
The maximum award through the 4-year service would be 10 systematic reviews or €610,000 (excluding VAT but including travel, library services, administration, software fees, and overheads etc.).
The HRB Evidence Centre needs to contract a research service with strong systematic review capacity to support the evidence requirements of the DOH for the period April 2023‒April 2027. The evidence product types likely to be required are:

3. Evidence highlight
