This procurement concerns the establishment of a framework for general building contractors. When admitted to the FW contractors will be requested to tender for Small Building Works' projects on The University of Dublin, Trinity College (TCD) Campus.
TCD intends to create the framework of qualified applicants who have submitted the best quality submissions based on the selection and award criteria set out in stage 1A and 1B of the tender documents. Candidates admitted to the framework will be requested to tender for selected projects ranging in value from €0 to €1,000,000 for a period of two (2) years with the option to extend for two number one (1) year extensions. Each call-off project will be the subject of a mini competition. The contracts which are the subject of this competition will, if awarded, be awarded pursuant to the procedures set out in the framework guidance notes contained within the tender documents.

Description of the procurement

The most economically advantageous or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. TCD does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
It is currently the intention of TCD that the framework competition shall be completed on or before October 2022, although this is subject to change at the discretion of TCD.
