Irish Rail are currently seeking a solution for a customised access control system, mobile app and smart key solution to replace the existing mechanical padlocks and DIN cylinder locks that are currently in place across various locations
The purpose for this is to eliminate the security risk of unauthorised access using uncontrolled keys and to give greater visibility of sites and locks that have been accessed.
The system will be a traditional lock and key arrangement and shall not require the presence of live electricity.
The ideal system would offer multiple site access using a single key that can be activated through a mobile application.
The system would have the benefit of offering integration with other 3rd party software that can link work permits, certificates of competency etc.
