The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth has in place an ICT Governance Board and is in the process of setting up a Business Systems Projects Board to oversee a series of projects related to business analysis services, business improvement and the design, build and rollout of a number of systems. The Department wishes to put an infrastructure in place to support these two boards and project managers. The Department also wishes to put in place a system of supports for the Business Systems Projects Board, the ICT Governance Board, project managers and others associated with the governance and management of projects. In progressing ICT projects it has become apparent that some Business Process improvement is required in advance of the development of systems. To this end the Department wishes to put in place business improvement supports in place. The support may be of an analytical nature but may also include improvements in the use of technology.
