Short description

Trinity College Dublin requires COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test kits for self-test/home-test applications. This Multi-supplier tender will establish a Framework Agreement with a maximum of 5 vendors. There are 3 Lots to reflect various pack sizes and configurations.
An initial requirement for Trinity College Dublin will be awarded to the No.1 ranked tenderer in Lot 1 (kits containing 5 tests).
The initial requirement will be a contract for delivery of 100,000 tests. The top 5 vendors based on MEAT scores will be appointed as framework members in each Lot. Subsequent drawdown contracts will be implemented via a quotes and/or mini-competition process as specified in the RFT.

Description of the procurement

Trinity College Dublin issues this tender for COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test kits on the 6th of January 2022. The test kits are specified for self-test/home-test applications. The tender will establish a Framework Agreement with a maximum of 5 vendors. An initial requirement for Trinity College Dublin will be awarded to the No.1 ranked tenderer.
The initial requirement is from Lot 1 and is for delivery of 100,000 tests as soon as possible with another 100,000 on a phased basis.
The RFT includes a mandatory selection criterion that specifies products must be listed on the EU certified list of COVID-19 Antigen Test kits.
