Short description
NMI requires archaeological processing services to sort, pack, document and prepare assemblages from large excavated archaeological collections for accession and storage in the National Museum of Ireland.
The scope of services will also include the completion of risk assessments for the working environment and situation, to ensure the Framework Members personnel, NMI staff, collections and non-collection objects are safe at all times.
The overall project will be managed by staff of NMI’s Irish Antiquities Division and will be based NMI’s Collections Resource Centre, Swords, Co. Dublin. Supervision and guidance of framework personnel will be carried out by the supervisor appointed by the contractor who will liaise with the relevant NMI staff.
The successful tenderer will have professional membership of the Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland or equivalent.
