The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine invites tenders for the provision of a team of twenty-eight (28) skilled Business Analysis Resources to work across a wide range of business areas. The business Analysis team will be tasked with the investigating and analysing business situations, identifying and evaluating options for improving business systems, elaborating and defining requirements, and ensuring the effective implementation and use of information systems in line with the needs of the business. The Business Analysis team will also work closely with the application development team, the test team and DAFM resources. All areas will work collaboratively to achieve the overall objectives as prioritised by the relevant business areas.

Description of the procurement

The Contracting Authority is separately conducting a competition for the long-term provision of these Services E-TENDERS REFERENCE 182142, which is currently the subject of judicial review proceedings. Pending the outcome of those proceedings and in order to ensure continuity of service, the Contracting Authority has an urgent need to put in place a short-term contract for the provision of the Services.

Take Notice that no contract will be awarded under this competition.
The Contracting Authority conducted a preceding separate competition for the long-term provision of the Services comprised in this competition, under E-TENDERS REFERENCE 182142. That competition was the subject of judicial review proceedings and pending the outcome of those proceedings, in order to ensure continuity of service, this competition was commenced to put a short-term contract in place for the provision of the Services.
The aforementioned judicial review proceedings have now been formally concluded and there is now no further necessity, or basis, to continue this tender competition.
