Description of the procurement

The CRO invites suitably qualified providers to tender for their appointment as system development support and maintenance partners for the period August 2021 to August 2025. The main aim of the contract will be to provide ongoing support and maintenance for the CRO IT systems. The contract will also involve enhancements to the existing systems as required.
The CRO requires a team of software developers, at a minimum two full time developers working exclusively on maintenance and support of CRO systems. The CRO requires flexibility from the successful contractor regarding the number of resources that can be made available. It is possible that at times additional developers will be required as well as times when a reduced number of developers will be needed (though CRO expects there to be a fairly consistent demand for two resources). The main technology skills required are one .NET developer and one Systems Administrator, .NET, SQL Server. It is vital that any leave or absences of the developers are covered by providing additional replacement resources by the contractor without leaving CRO with reduced resources.
The number of resources will depend on the support and maintenance demands, budget limitations, and the skill sets/experience and daily rates of such developers, such information having been provided in the tender in respect of each developer, additional developer.
