[DescrShort]

This public procurement competition relates to the provision of certain legal services to the Commissioners of Public Works. The Office of Public Works (OPW) is an Irish Government Office whose primary function is to support the implementation of Government policy. The OPW advises the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform and the Minister of State for the Office of Public Works and Flood Relief, principally in the disciplines of property (including heritage properties) and flood risk management. The Chief State Solicitor’s Office (the “CSSO”), a constituent part of the Attorney General’s Office (the “AGO”), is the provider of legal services to Central Government including the OPW. DPER Circular 05/13 requires the Central Government Sector to use the legal services of the CSSO / AGO where available. It is anticipated that, in exceptional circumstances, the OPW may require access to additional legal resources for the purposes detailed in Appendix 1 to this RFT
