[DescrShort]

The Irish Prison Service wishes to invite tenders for the provision of a managed service to provide Locum Doctor Services as required in the Irish Prison Service institutions.
The use of Locum Doctors is to fill arising vacancies planned and unplanned in any or all locations where IPS provide healthcare services.
The current requirement is for up to 6 Locum Doctors (full and part time) on an ongoing basis. The requirement may vary over the course of the contract due to budget constraints. Additional vacancies (which will likely be of short-term duration) may arise on an ongoing basis. There is also the possibility that the Irish Prison Service will recruit full time Prison Doctors over the course of the contract which will reduce the quantity of locum doctors required. The Contracting Authority does not bind itself to purchasing these or any quantities.
