Short description

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) requires the services of a competent and experienced company to supply and install and commission three new cranes and to remove and dispose of the three existing cranes within the Bogie Shop, Inchicore, Dublin 8. The Bogie Shop at Inchicore overhauls and produces bogies for all the Irish Rail passenger fleets.
The successful contractor will be responsible for any transport or civil works which may be required prior to removing and installing the cranes, all final measurements will be the responsibility of the contractor.
Supply and Install:
• 2x 50 tonne cranes
50 tonne cranes need to be operated simultaneously (in tandem for loco lifts) with the same control and separately when tandem lifts are not taken place. Anti-collision sensors and digital load sensors to be included.
• 1 x 25 tonne crane
Removal and Disposal
• Three existing 40 tonne cranes

Description of the procurement
