In consideration of public health and safety measures and the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Irish Government has, as of Tuesday, September 15th, 2020, announced the decision to postpone the census of population for one year from Sunday, April 18th, 2021 to Sunday, April 3rd, 2022.
As a result of this Government decision the Central Statistics Office (CSO) must now cancel the RFT for the provision of a Managed Service to deliver all aspects of the Census 2021 Publicity Campaign. A new revised tender for the publicity services will be published early next year for the 2022 census. The CSO regrets any inconvenience caused by this unavoidable situation.
