In 2020 and 2021 there are a number of key developments taking place in the area of Global Health including HIV and AIDS and SRHR, which will require enhanced policy support. These developments include Ireland assuming a seat on the Board of the Global Fund for Malaria, TB and AIDS in June 2021.
A consultant will be engaged to provide an external professional service and expertise and it is envisaged that the consultant’s responsibilities will cover the following areas:
• Providing professional expert technical services in relation to policy work in thematic areas relevant to DFA, with a particular emphasis on technical issues;
• Providing specific expert technical services as required for DFA engagement in Key Partner Countries;
• Attending relevant fora in relation to the above areas, as required;
• Providing external expert analysis and briefings as required.
