Short description

Tenders are sought for the design, delivery and installation of an upgrade of the control system of the National Pharmaceutical Education Centre Pilot Plant at the Technology University Dublin Tallaght Campus.
The National Pharmaceutical Education Centre Pilot Plant is located on the ground floor of the TU Dublin Tallaght Campus. The Pilot Plant was built in 2002 and a number of the control system components have reached end of life. The Pilot Plant is a non-qualified, non-GMP environment. The Plant is used to simulate pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical operations and is used as a laboratory environment for student experiments as part of the various Pharmaceutical Production and Pharmaceutical Science courses at undergraduate and post graduate level. The supplier is asked to provide a proposal for the upgrade to the control system under a number of headings.
