Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has a requirement to lease approximately seventeen [17] Automatic Component Wash Machines to include delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of each machine. The Contract shall include all routine maintenance, removal and disposal of waste fluid, repairs due to wear and tear and catastrophic failure, and periodic testing as required. The successful tenderer shall provide IE with a programme/schedule covering planned maintenance/service/inspection for each unit. The machines will vary in size and load capacities (from 250kg to 2,000Kg).
In addition, there are approximately an additional two [2] machines owned by IE that will require servicing, maintenance and removal of waste as part of the contract.
The equipment will be based at the following locations:
• Inchicore, Dublin
• Fairview, Dublin
• Drogheda, Louth

Each Component Wash must be capable of washing the following materials without altering or damaging their original structure or surface finish:
 Stainless Steel;
 Tool Steel;
 Mild Steels and Carbon Steels;
 Special Alloy Steels;
 Cast Iron;
 Copper, Bronze and Brass;
 Aluminium;
 Chrome Plated or Galvanized Metals;
 Plastics
In addition, there are approximately an additional two [2] machines owned by IE that will require servicing, maintenance and removal of waste as part of the contract.
IÉ require that companies participating in the pre-qualification phase of the process demonstrate that they have the necessary structures, resources, capabilities and experience to manage IÉ requirements.
The equipment will be based at the following locations:
• Inchicore, Dublin
• Fairview, Dublin
• Drogheda, Louth
The lease agreement will run for an initial three [3] year period commencing at the end of October 2020 and IÉ may extend this contract by an additional one [1] year period solely at their discretion.
