The services required by UCC under the Framework will be Health and Safety Consultancy Services as detailed in the Tender Documents.

Description of the procurement

This Tender is to establish a single supplier framework of Health and Safety Consultancy Services at UCC to whom specific contracts may be awarded on an exclusive basis based on the terms of a framework agreement
It is envisaged that the services required by UCC under the Framework will be Health and Safety Consultancy Services as follows:
a) Acting as overall Safety Advisor on Building & Estates Safety Statement.
b) Acting as Safety Advisor to the Buildings Office in accordance with Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 and any other relevant Health, Safety and Welfare Legislation in force at the time of the commission.
c) Act as Safety Officer for Building & Estates Office in accordance with Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.
d) Health & Safety Audits on UCC Activities.
e) Site Inspections/Site Audits.
f) Acting as PSDP/PSCS for selected Small & Minor Works Projects.
g) Assist in day to day operation of the UCC Contractor Management System.
h) Preparation of Permits to Work.
i) Covid 19 Compliance
j) Act as health and safety coordinator for the PSDP & /or PSCS
k) Carry out routine equipment checks e.g. Ladders, Life Buoys {fill out a GA3 etc.}
l) Attending SAT {Safety Action Teams} and B&E Safety Management team meetings
m) Delivering Training on SOP's and a range of construction specific training
n) Assist UCC to maintain their Safe-T cert
