Short description
The Health Research Board (HRB) is a state agency that supports research and provides evidence to prevent illness, improve health and transform patient care. The HRB has 61 staff. Our annual budget is in excess of €45m and we manage a research investment portfolio of approximately €200m. The agency is funded mainly by the Department of Health, and Board members are appointed by the Minister for Health.
The HRB is now seeking to obtain a licence for a bibliometric tool with the following characteristics:
Platform
• Cloud-based
• Stable and reliable, with guaranteed recovery times should there be any disruption to service
• Access and usability independent of hardware and browser
• Must adhere to the GDPR principle of “Privacy by design and default”
• Ideally allow for potential integration with the HRB Grant Electronic Management System (GEMS, https://grants.hrb.ie) since invitation to peer reviewers are sent out via GEMS.
