The Contracting Authority intends to appoint a suitably-qualified and experienced economic operator to provide support and maintenance services in respect of its existing telephony infrastructure for the duration of the framework agreement. The telephony infrastructure at Beaumont Hospital has evolved over many years and is complex. Presently, three telephone systems are installed, supporting around 3500 internal extensions. The systems are networked and there is a range of interconnecting links to peripheral systems running various support and user applications.
