Short description

The Contracting Authority proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a single-party framework agreement for the provision of a Civil Defence Volunteer and Equipment Management System and associated services. The system will provide new and effective ways of gathering, managing and analysing data across the Civil Defence organisation. It will provide for integrated processing and management of Civil Defence data and give a comprehensive overview of volunteers, operations, training undertaken and equipment used and its maintenance schedule. It will support the Department of Defence in strategic and budgetary decision making in an integrated and comprehensive manner.

Description of the procurement

The Contracting Authority proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a single-party framework agreement for the provision of a Civil Defence Volunteer and Equipment Management System and associated services. The framework agreement will be established on foot of a competition for an initial contract for a four (4) year period, with the option to award further contracts of 1, 2 or 3 year durations, subject to satisfactory annual review of performance, budget availability and corporate objectives of the Contracting Authority.
