Short description

This is a call to competition by Iarnród Éireann (IE) for the procurement of invasive plant species treatment and control services
IE invites applications to participate in the pre-qualification process to appoint suitably qualified companies to a qualification system for the treatment and control of various type of invasive plant species, at ad-hoc locations throughout the IE Rail Network,that may arise on an ad-hoc basis.
Those companies successfully appointed to the Qualification System will receive all future tender enquiries.
Invasive plant Species would include Japanese Knotweed and Giant Hogweed

Other additional information

Following receipt and review of initial completed Pre- Qualification Questionnaire's (PQQ), IE may have included a requirement in the PQQ that we now consider may have been disproportionate and have amended.
The amended criteria refers to QUALITY MANAGEMENT with the wording changed from "Applicants are required to have in place an externally audited Quality Management System. " to
"Applicants are required to have in place a documented Quality Management System which outlines their Processes & Procedures in relation to quality control".
ALL ORIGINAL UNSUCESSFUL APPLICANTS, AS WELL AS ANY NEW APPLICANTS , MUST NOW COMPLETE AND RETURN THE REVISED PQQ DOCUMENT ATTACHED TO THIS NOTICE.
