Short description
ESB Networks is responsible for the meter management, operations, data collection activities and the central market system which supports the Republic of Ireland electricity retail market. ESB Networks also owns the Distribution System Operator for the Irish electricity system.
The Smart Metering Deployment Operations Centre (DOC), based in Dublin, Ireland is an integral part of the Smart Metering Project, it is responsible for the delivery of Smart meter installations and consists of 5 work streams outlined below:

Provided that a sufficient number of Applicants are qualified to be considered for shortlisting, following application of the procedures set out in section A.9(Evaluation of PQQ responses), it is anticipated that at least the 5 highest-scored Applicants will be shortlisted and invited to proceed to the next stage of the procurement process.
