The scope of this contract is for a single-supplier framework agreement covering the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland for the analysis of natural gas samples for the determination of odorant concentrations.
The scope of contract required will involve providing suitably qualified personnel and appropriate laboratory & equipment for the following;
• Analysis of natural gas samples taken from the Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) network to determine odour content concentration and calculation of odour intensity (to include natural gas & biogas),
• Provide emergency out-of-hours odour intensity analysis when required,
• Sample capture and analysis of ground source natural gas concentrations surrounding buried gas pipelines,
• Sample capture and analysis of moisture within natural gas,
• Coordination of logistics for transportation of samples where required, and
• Reporting, as per GNIs requirements
