VI.3)

[InfoAdditional]

This contract is for radar meteorological services.
The award notice had to be published as a supplies contract to comply with TED publication rules.
In December 2019, TED updated its publications rules and it is no longer possible to select contract types with CPV numbers that don't match with the selected category.
Supplies contracts must have CPV codes starting with numbers between 0 and 44 or 48. Works contracts must have CPV codes starting with 45. Services contracts must have CPV codes starting with numbers between 49 and 98.
CPV numbers cannot be changed for the award notice as they come from the Request for Tenders notice that was already published.
When the Request for Tenders notice (as a service contract) for this procurement was published in May 2019, the main CPV of 35722000 (radar) was chosen. This a supplies CPV code and so the award notice must be issued as a supplies contract.
