Failte Ireland requires Single Point Design and Advisory Services (SPDAT) in relation to the Wild Atlantic Way Infrastructure Improvement Project (“the project”).
The purpose of this Tender competition is to procure an Integrated Design Team for the project of the following:
• Stage 1– Preliminary Design.
• Stage 2A – Developed Sketch Design.
• Stage 2B – Detailed Design
• Stage 2C – Tender Documentation
The services required comprises of all the services necessary for the management and delivery of Stages 1, 2A, 2B & 2C of the project requirements including but not limited to the services listed below.
The services to be provided are detailed in the documentation available for downloading from www.etenders.gov.ie.
The project is comprised of 16 specific projects located within the Counties of Clare and Kerry.

Description of the procurement

Failte Ireland requires Single Point Design and Advisory Services (SPDAT) in relation to the Wild Atlantic Way Infrastructure Improvement Project (“the project”).

1. Fulfil the role of Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) as defined under current Safety, Health & Welfare at Work legislation.
2. Provide all design/engineering consultancy services required to complete the Design and Environmental requirements including the preparation of all associated documentation.
3.Prepare all documentation for the relevant Planning Stages, present proposals and attend planning related meetings and respond to requests from/with the planning authorities.
4. Preparation of all documentation required for successful Category 1 Application under the Rural Regeneration Scheme.
The project is comprised of 16 specific projects located within the Counties of Clare and Kerry.

Precise information on deadline(s) for review procedures: 
The contracting authority will not conclude this contract to which a standstill period applies in accordance with Irish Statutory Instrument SI 130 of 2010, until after the expiry of the standstill period which commences on the day following the date of notification of concerned candidates and tenderers. The duration of the standstill period will be 14 calendar days where notifications are sent electronically or by fax and 16 calendar days where these are sent by any other means. The Statutory Instrument mentioned above provides that review procedures are available in the High Court to a person who has or has had an interest in obtaining the contract and alleges that he or she has been harmed or is at risk of being harmed by an infringement of the law in relation to that contract.
