Short description
South Dublin County Council currently has jurisdiction over approximately 9200 dwellings. Dwelling consist predominantly of traditionally built one storey and two storey houses and flats, and three storey apartment blocks and duplex units of various sizes.
South Dublin County Council are looking to establish a new Multi-Party framework for the provision of services related to Security Shuttering of properties by means of installation, maintenance of metal screens to windows and doors and monitoring to prevent unauthorised access and to reduce the risk of vandalism, squatting, theft and danger to the public.
The scope of works is likely to include, but not limited to:
— Steel security door screens;
— Fixed security window screens;
— Out of hours call out vacant properties operable 365 days a year;
— Any additional elements associated with the works listed above.

Description of the procurement
South Dublin County Council currently has jurisdiction over approximately 9200 dwellings. Dwelling consist predominantly of traditionally built one storey and two storey houses and flats, and three storey apartment blocks and duplex units of various sizes.
South Dublin County Council are looking to establish a new Multi-Party framework for the provision of services related to Security Shuttering of properties by means of installation, maintenance of metal screens to windows and doors and monitoring to prevent unauthorised access and to reduce the risk of vandalism, squatting, theft and danger to the public.
The scope of works is likely to include, but not limited to:
— Steel security door screens;
— Fixed security window screens;
— Out of hours call out vacant properties operable 365 days a year;
— Any additional elements associated with the works listed above.
There will also be a need to have flexibility in the contract as South Dublin County Council operates five days per week with after-hours emergency call out service operable 365 days a year. Furthermore there may be a short window to have units completed for security purposes and South Dublin County Council would require that installation of required screening is completed with Three (3) hours of specified order being received and at several locations simultaneously, if required.
The Framework agreement will initially be issued for a term of one (1) year. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend the Term for a period of up to one (1) year with a maximum of three (3) such extensions on the same terms and conditions, subject to the Contracting Authority’s obligations at law. The Term will not exceed four (4) years in aggregate.

The Framework agreement will initially be issued for a term of one year. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend the term for a period of up to one year with a maximum of three such extension on the same terms and conditionals subject to the Contract Authority's obligations at law, the Term will not exceed 4 years in aggregate.
