Description of the procurement

ESB Energy wishes to engage with specialist energy sales providers as part of a drive to acquire new customers and meet customer acquisition targets for 2019 and beyond. It is intended to establish a panel of suitably qualified providers who may be invited to participate in tendering for ESB Energy face to face sales services requirements as they arise over the three year term on the qualification system. We are interested in applications from companies with their own existing suitably qualified resources and who can demonstrate experience of operating face to face sales services contracts in the UK for energy supply companies operating in the UK domestic energy supply market.
This tendering process will be operated by ESB Energy Limited UK and this is a voluntary notice to alert interested parties of the existence of the qualification system.

This tendering process is being conducted by ESB procurement on behalf of the contracting entity, ESB Energy Limited, Tricor Suite, 4th Floor, 50 Mark Lane, London EC3R 7QR.
The publication of this notice is voluntary and is solely to alert economic entities who may be interested in applying to be considered for inclusion on a list of qualified service providers who may be invited to bid for face to face sales services ( including In-store Retail / and Venue Sales) as requirements arise over the three year term of the qualification system. Tender invitation lists for mini tendering processes conducted under this qualification system may be established by the application of specific criteria, random selection, or rotation. ESB Energy is interested in applications from interested parties with their own existing resources and with experience in operating face to face sales contracts for energy supply companies operating in the UK domestic energy supply market (electricity and gas)
Interested parties should note that this qualification process is not governed by the provisions of Directive 2004/17/EC or Directive 2014/25/EU (or the Irish regulations transposing those directives) and ESB does not intend in this process to follow the procedures or rules set out in those Directives/Regulations.
