Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre-Qualification process for the establishment of a multi-party Framework Agreement for Railway Fencing & associated Works.
The Framework Agreement will be four years in duration and commence in March 2019.
Under the proposed framework agreement all requirements will be mini-tendered to those companies that are successfully appointed.
The current four year framework agreement will cease on 4th March 2019
A PRE-QUALIFICATION QUESTIONNAIRE IS ATTACHED TO THIS NOTICE AND MUST BE DOWNLOADED, COMPLETED AND RETURNED AS DIRECTED AND TO INCLUDE ALL REQUESTED INFORMATION AND ATTACHMENTS.

II.2.4)

Description of the procurement

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre-Qualification process for the establishment of a multi-party Framework Agreement for Railway Fencing & associated Works.
The Framework Agreement will be four years in duration and commence in March 2019.
IÉ has a continuous requirement for fencing works to be carried out on the rail network.
The type of fencing typically required will be:
Concrete Post and Wire ,
Timber Post and Wire,
2.4m Security Purpose (SP) Palisade Fencing,
2.4m General Purpose (GP) Palisade Fencing,
Deer Proof Fencing ,
Horse Fencing,
Concrete Post and Chain-link Fencing.
All necessary drainage and vegetation clearance works also to be included.
All Contractors staff must hold up to date safe pass, a railway P.T.S (personal track safety) Cert and Relevant certification to operate large and small plant machinery (including chainsaws)
Under the proposed framework agreement all requirements will be mini-tendered to those companies that are successfully appointed.
