Design, manufacture, delivery and installation of Boiler components on two 305MWe, Foster Wheeler natural circulation single furnace coal-fired boilers at Moneypoint Generating Station. This work will include boiler reheater pressure part replacement including tubing with all attachments and fittings. Refurbishment work on the units are expected to take place during outages in 2018 (two units in series) . Outage dates may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
ESB Moneypoint Generating Station is located in the Shannon estuary in the south west of Ireland, near Kilrush in Co Clare.

Description of the procurement

This Framework is for the design, manufacture, delivery and installation of Boiler components on two 305MWe, Foster Wheeler natural circulation single furnace coal-fired boilers at Moneypoint Generating Station. This work will include boiler reheater pressure part replacement including tubing with all attachments and fittings. Refurbishment work on the units will take place during outages in 2018. Outage dates may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
The scope of works will include boiler reheater pressure part replacement including tubing with all attachments and fittings using high creep strength materials and medium chromium steels including X20CrMoV121 or equivalent. All works shall be in compliance with applicable boiler codes and statutory requirements of the jurisdiction. All support service works such as scaffolding, insulation works, NDT etc. will be included in the scope.
