Justification:  
The accelerated procedure is justified as clinicians have identified a number of patients in urgent need of treatment using the GT3 regimen and the remaining budget available to the National Hepatitis C Treatment Programme for 2017 will allow limited access under existing commercial terms and reduce significantly the numbers of patients overall that can be treated.
