The Authority requires a Head of Public Affairs whose key objectives will be to:
- Maintain and build the Authority’s reputation with external audiences, including
media, transport sector, political realm, other state agencies; and
- Position public transport and other sustainable trip options (e.g. walking and
cycling) in a positive way in the minds of the travelling public.
The Successful Tenderer will report to the Head of Customer Engagement and
will be expected to engage with the Authority CEO, Directors, Heads of Function
and Authority personnel, communications personnel in transport operators, state
agencies and authorities, political representatives and others and suppliers of
services to the Authority.

any time, or procure the project by alternative means if it appears that the project can
thereby be more advantageously procured. The most economically advantageous or
