Short description

The Houses of the Oireachtas (Irish Parliament) Commission (‘the Commission’, also ‘the Contracting Authority’) is initiating a Tender process for the maintenance and operation of a sound system and provision and maintenance of a digital audio recording system for the Dáil (Lower House), Seanad (Senate, or Upper House) and Committee Chambers of the Houses of the Oireachtas (together “the Chambers” and “the Committee Rooms”). The Chambers are based at Leinster House, Kildare Street, Dublin 2.
The main purpose of the service to be provided is to maintain and operate a sound system and a digital audio recording systems to ensure that the audio output of the facilities detailed within this document is of a sufficiently high standard to facilitate the publication of the Official Report of Oireachtas proceedings and the broadcasting of Oireachtas proceedings on the Oireachtas TV channel.
