    ESB invites expression of interest from experienced Insurance Brokers who have

    the capability to provide a range of Insurance Broker Services across all of ESB‘s

    operations.

    Total quantity or scope:

    ESB currently has a requirement to appoint a company to provide Insurance Broker Services. The scope of services shall include but shall not be limited to:

    • Determining of Client requirements

    • Research and development of cover requirements

    • Reviewing changes in coverage resulting from clients losses, industry losses or changing client needs

    • Identifying new and emerging risks

    • Providing regular market and coverage updates

    • Conducting interim review meetings

    • Drafting bespoke policy wordings tailored to ESB risk exposures

    • Programme and product design

    • Agreeing market strategy and presentations to selected insurance markets

    • Selecting markets based on coverage, capacity, security and ability/ willingness to pay claims

    • Amending the programme to reflect market or client requests and changes

    • Managing the placement and updating the client in line with their requirements/ expectations

    • Prepare and issue all policy documentation

    • Prepare and issue certificates of cover

    • Issue subsequent endorsements to policy wordings

    • Calculation, collection and distribution of premium

    • Calculation of premium adjustments

    • Providing advice to clients on claims protocols

    • Notification to underwriters of claims

    • Negotiating settlement issues on behalf of client

    • Pursuing settlements and/ or collection of claims

    • Creating, storing, retrieving and archiving of all documentation.

    • Risk Consultancy and Engineering Services
