The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) is Ireland’s independent energy and water regulator. The CER was established in 1999 and now has a wide range of economic, customer protection and safety responsibilities in energy. The CER is also the regulator of Ireland’s public water and wastewater system.

The CER issued a notice for expert support as part of the National Smart Metering Programme (NSMP) in the area of Communications (2014/S 235-413568).

The CER is now cancelling the competition for this contract as there was no suitable tender received.

No contract will be awarded on foot of contract notice 2014/S 235-413568.
